Wow well done Allie. I am so pleased it all went without a hitch and you didn't have to go anywhere near a hospital. At least with it being so quick you didn't have to worry about having enough energy or even losing too much sleep!

I'm so glad you got your named midwife, not that you needed her . And what a lovely, special name.

I LOL'd at your BFF thinking she was a boy - we knew Jacob was a boy and they had a boy hat all prepared for him when he came out, but said we could confirm it ourselves. I remember the midwife lifting him slightly off my chest to show me so I could confirm and because of what I'd read about girl bits getting swollen and looking like boy bits, I said "Is it a girl?". I think they all thought I was bonkers

Anyway, congratulations, you're an absolute star.
